This Somerley House wedding editorial was the perfect opportunity to bring together some of our favourite suppliers from Hampshire and Dorset and create an amazing shoot in a truly inspiring location.
Hampshire is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places in Southern England. Miles of countryside stretch into rolling green hills and so this the scene inspired us to bring together a marvellous collection of Hampshire talent who together created this effortlessly stylish, laid back luxury editorial shoot. Dreamy florals by award winning Arcade Flowers in on trend deep burgundy tones vs chalky blues and peach are beautifully coordinated to match the country luxe of the Somerley Estate. Effortless and luxury in perfect harmony.
We felt the selection of colours would reflect the depth and romance of the season, and the promise of lots of elegant and free-spirited weddings. Weddings embracing the magnificence of this adaptable and inspirational Hampshire wedding venue. As a result it would especially inspire lovers of laid-back elegance across the UK.
This shoot is full of evocative romantic florals sumptuously mixed with a seasonal on trend colour palette. The refined yet simple styling centred around a small table with exquisite floral detailing. Stationery is luxury with a timeless, handwritten font in soft gold – it’s by the wonderfully talented Georgina Read Creative. And last but by no means least, some delicious treats for wedding guests. Elegant vintage glasses with the delicious French 75 cocktail and an extraordinary hand painted wedding cake created by the lovely Gemma from Tartufi Cakes!
We adore the elegance and craftsmanship of the Suzanne Neville gowns from Anna Bridal, the romantic and natural bridal look with makeup by Made Up and hair by Riot Hair.
It’s a pleasure to be able to share these images with you especially if you are inspired to plan a Somerley House wedding – they are the result of a wonderful collaboration between a superb venue and some very dedicated and inspiring suppliers. They offer a beautiful and incredibly elegant example of how to incorporate two classic colours in to your wedding day.
